Under 14 Football final
Ballyduff had a great win over Skellig Rgs. in the u-14 final played
in Beaufort on Wed 9th May The score was Ballyduff 8-6; Skellig 6-7.
Ballyduff had a big leadf at half time after scoring 8 goals in the
first half but Skellig came back strongly in the second half scoring
6 goals, But Ballyduff held out, winning by 5 points. After the match
Billy Broderick presented the trophy on behalf of Coiste na nOg to Kieran
Griffin. Scorers For Ballyduff were, David Goulding 4-1, Eric O'Connor
2-2, Liam O'Brien 1-1, John Logan 1-0 and Pat Joe Connolly 0-2

U-12 Hurling
Congratulations to our u-12 hurlers on bringing the first trophy in
2007. On Fri. 26th April they had a hard-earned win over Lixnaw on a
score of 4-4 to 2-6. at half time it was 2-2 to 2-1 in favour of Lixnaw
but goals from Sean Browne and Kevin Bowler late iin the second half
helped to seal the victory. Well done to Noel, Christy, Tom and Stevie
for their sterling work in looking after the team. Tom O'Connor presented
the trophy on behalf of Coiste na nOg to the captain John Dowling.

Members of the Ballyduff GAA Club attended the event, organised by Gerard
Rochford. The event was held in the West Middlesex Golf Club and
congratulations are due to Jimmy O'Sullivan who came second and Bobby
O'Sullivan who won the longest drive on the day. The Ballyduff GAA club is
deeply indebted to Gerard for organising the event and obtaining all the
sponsorship. A great time was had by all over the weekend.
